This blog post is really long over due. I had the privilege of taking Tim & Heather’s family photos last month and man did we have a crazy day.
I love taking everyone’s photos but these are near and dear to my heart because they are my very own family!
Tim (or as I like to say the old guy), my cousin, has known me from the day I was born and picked on me ever since.
Heather, and I collaborated together on the perfect spot to take some family photos.
It’s not surprising we decided to go to our family’s all time favorite spot- Tim’s parents’ cabin in Pine, AZ.
We decided to make a day trip out of it… Little did we know our day trip would turn into an ALLLLLL Day trip lol.
We met up at the cabin around 11am and walked around through the lovely pine trees and amazing scenic views.
Tim had the absolute perfect spot in mind to take pictures and made all of us (5 kids & 4 adults) walk about a mile in the heat to the ugliest place ever- epic fail! haha just kidding- well not really
Anyways we found some really awesome photo spots and had lunch and called it a day.
On the way back home (highway 87) was closed due to a wildfire… Can we say detour?
WORST DETOUR EVER! Our 1 1/2 hour drive back home turned into literally a 4 hour drive!
What a disaster! – Looking back now though at these photos I think it was worth it.
